College film education in America has developed a complete system having both the training mechanism of professional film personnel and the different levels of film teaching structure .In this one , America film education embodies some specifics ,such as more subdivisions of production training .At the same time ,a comprehensive film study is getting constantly strengthened .The entrance mecha‐nisms ,and curriculum system in some famous film colleges ,also reflect the characteristics of the college film education in America focusing on students＇creative education .This paper aims to research the cur‐rent situation and styles of the college film education in American ,summarize its prominent points ,and bring some beneficial enlightenments to film and television education in China .
