申奥背景下张家口服务行业英语应用现状及对策研究

随着张家口申奥活动的不断深入,张家口将以崭新的姿态与世界接轨。其中,服务行业英语应用环境建设是申奥过程中一个不可或缺的重要组成部分。服务行业是一个城市的窗口,是展示城市人文风采的平台,其从业人员的英语服务水平会直接影响经济的发展和社会的进步,推动服务行业英语应用规范化对申办冬奥会意义重大。针对目前服务业从业人员外事服务能力不高的普遍现状,政府及相关部门应引起重视并采取有效措施提升从业人员的英语服务水平,推动服务行业的国际化进程。

With the development of Zhangjiakou＇s bidding for the Olympic Winter games,the city will be integrating with the world by the brand- new posture. Meanwhile,the construction of English application environment in the service industry has become an indispensable part in the process of the Olympic bid. In fact,service industry is the window of a city as well as a platform to display its urban humanities and cultures. So the English proficiency of the service employees directly affects the economic development and social progress. Therefore,the standardization of English application in service sector is of great significance to bidding for the Olympics. According to the employees＇ poor service ability of foreign affairs at present,government and relevant departments should pay attention to this aspect and take effective measures to raise the English level of these practitioners in order to promote the internationalization of service industry.
