Wu Zhen and His Poetry

吴镇是清代甘肃临洮著名诗人,在诗歌、绘画、书法等方面都有极高的造诣。吴镇出仕以后曾在山东、湖北等地为官,为官清廉,刚直不阿,后返回故乡。他一生书写了大量歌颂家乡的诗作,以《我忆临洮好》组诗而闻名,其作品饱含着对家乡的热爱,对家乡一草一木的爱恋。

Wu Zhen is a famous poet in Lintao of Gansu Qing Dynasty, there are high in poetry,painting,calligraphy attainments. Wu Zhen was an offical in Shandong and Hubei, the official, an honest, upright, after returning to hometown. All his life he wrote lots of praises his poems, known as the ＂Lintao＂ I have good poems, his works full of love for hometown, love for hometown every tree and bush.
