摘要
关联理论认为翻译是一个动态的明示推理认知过程。将关联理论运用到大学公共英语翻译教学实践中,教师应培养学生注重认知语境的分析,明确原文作者真正的交际意图,引导学生选择恰当的翻译策略,从而提高学生的翻译兴趣和翻译能力。
Translation can be considered as a dynamic cognitive process of ostensive inference based on relevance theory. In the paper, relevance theory can be applied to the college English translation teaching. In practice, the teachers should cultivate students' attention on the analysis of cognitive environment, define the source text author's communicative intention, instruct students to adopt proper translating strategy, thereby promoting students' interests in translation and their translation abilities.
