摘要
介绍运用PLC控制的十字路口智能延时交通信号系统,该智能交通信号系统利用环形线圈检测器来探测车道内通过的车辆,然后利用PLC内置的计数器对车辆数量进行计数并计算出进入车道特定区间的车辆数量。依据一定的智能控制规则,控制系统能根据各车道内的车辆数目和车流量情况自动地延长直行方向的绿灯时长,从而提高十字路口的交通效率,缓解交通拥挤。
This paper presents an intelligent traffic system which can prolong the green time automati-cally through PLC.Doughnut coil detector is used to detect the existence and passing by of the vehicle while the built-in counter of PLC counts the number of stranded vehicle.According to certain intelligent control principle,green time is prolonged automatically,which is determined by the number of stranded vehicle and traffic flow.With this system,the transportation efficiency is enhanced and the traffic congestion is alleviated.
