译文分两个部分：第一部分主要介绍了藏族社会与死亡相关的一系列重要仪式活动，包括葬式占卜、清洗及捆缚尸体、亡灵超度，以及尸体处理等仪式。第二部分着重介绍了藏族社会与死亡、灵魂转世相关的一些宗教现象，以及天葬、火葬、水葬、土葬、塔葬等丧葬方式。作者还讲述了从甘托克到康宗、日喀则沿途的宗教文化及其内心感受。

The translation is divided into two parts： The first part introduces a serial of important rituals of Tibetan society and death, which including the burial ceremony of divination, cleaning and tied the bodies, the souls of salvation, and the treatment ceremony of dead bodies. The second part focuses on the Tibetan society and death, some religious phenomena that are related to the soul reincarnated, Celestial burial, cremation, water burial, Traditional burial, and tower burial and so on. The author also tells the religious cultural feelings of visit to Gangtok Kang and Shigatse.
