摘要
本文基于Devitt的互文性三重分类,分析了国际贸易活动中商务英语电子邮件中的指涉互文性、功能互文性、体裁互文性,并从交际功能的角度出发,探讨了话语社团内文本之间如何互动;同行业话语团体内成员撰写文本时如何利用互文性实现特定的交际功能,为话语社团的交际目的服务;文本间的互文性联系如何反映社团价值体系,体现行业内工作构建等问题。研究发现,国际贸易活动中的商务英语电子邮件普遍存在指涉互文性、功能互文性以及体裁互文性三种互文表现形式。三种互文性不仅包含特定的交际功能,还体现了作者特殊的交际意图、人际意义和话语团体规则。一个特定行业话语团体内的文本处在丰富的互文环境中,而这些文本也织就了错综复杂的互文网络。
On the basis of Devitt' s three types of intertextuality, this paper presents an analysis of referential intertextuabty, functional intertextuality and generic intertextuality in business E-mails of the international trade activities. Aims of this study are to figure out, from the perspective of communicative function, how texts interact with each other within a discourse community; how the community members of the same industry employ intertextuality to fulfill certain communication functions and serve communicative purpose of the discourse community while producing the texts; and how the intertextual connections between texts embody the value system and construct the work within industry. The study finds that referential, functional and generic intertextuality permeated generally in the business E-mails of the international trade activities. These three types of intertextualities, with specific communication function laden, embody author' s specific communicative objectives, interpersonal meanings together with community regulations. Texts in a discourse community within specific industry locate in an ample intertextual environment and constitute intricate intertextual network.
