北京被定位为全国政治中心、文化中心、国际交往中心和科技创新中心。沿着这个方向前行,让海归发挥作用,让他们得到重用,是协会存在的意义。 2015年1月31日,一场云集在京海外高层次人才的盛会——北京海外高层次人才协会第二次会员大会在京举行,逾百名北京海外高层次人才协会会员参加本次活动。会议总结了协会成立三年来的工作开展情况,选举产生了新一届协会领导成员。会员大会结束后,协会又召开了协会第二届理事会第一次会议,共谋协会未来发展大计。
