摘要
作为加拿大国内用以描述、评估及认证在加拿大生活或工作的,英语为非母语的成年移民或准移民的英语熟练程度的标准,CLB提供了对英语(第二语言)交流熟练程度的评估尺度、评估基准及评价点。将我国的大学英语课程要求和大学英语考试与之对比分析,发现目前的大学英语课程要求和全国大学英语考试存在诸多不足,为此,首先,有必要制定一个像CLB一样,在我国全国通用的成人英语语言等级标准;其次,借鉴CLB强调以学习者为中心、以任务为基础,结合社区、生活、工作、学习的理念;第三,加强对口语能力的评估,加大主观题比重;最后,加大对一线工作教师的培训,使英语教师具备较高的语言评估能力。
CLB,a standard used in Canada to describe,assess and certificate adult immigrants or prospective immigrants living or working in Canada and their English proficiency with English being the non-native language for them,provides the assessment criterion,assessment basis and assessment point for communication proficiency in English(as a second language).A comparative analysis shows that there exist numbers of shortcomings in current College English Curriculum Requirements and National College English Tests.Therefore,there is a need,firstly,to set a grade standard commonly used in our country,like CLB,for adult English language;secondly,to emphasize the learner-centered,task-based idea with combining community,life,work and study by using CLB for reference;thirdly,to enhance the assessment of oral competence and to pay more attention to subjective questions;lastly,to increase the training for teachers at the first-line so as to make English teachers possess higher abilities to assess language.
