Study on the Development of Urban Library Based on Culture and Technology

文章通过政策梳理,给出文化与科技融合中城市图书馆的功能定位。分析了信息(知识)融合、产业(媒介)融合的概念,提炼出融合在领域、动力、形态、管理、市场等方面的核心特征,重点分析了现阶段文化领域的融合任务。从功能层面,提出了城市图书馆应重点实施的两方面发展战略:一是强化实体空间和网络空间的发展,发挥社会节点功能。二是服务城市重大战略,提升城市软实力。

Through combing the policies, the paper defines the functions of urban library based on integration of culture and technology. It then discusses the concepts of information/knowledge convergence and industry/ media convergence to extract the core features of convergence from field, power, form, management and market etc. It emphasizes the convergence of the cultural field at present stage. At last, the paper proposes that the urban library should focus on two development strategies from the function level. One is to strengthen the development of physical space and of network, developing the function as social node. The other is to serve the major urban strategy to promote the soft power of the city.
