面向旅游者与居民的城市--“时空压缩”背景下城市旅游与休闲的趋势、影响及对策

CITY FOR TOURISTS AND RESIDENTS:TRENDS,IMPACTS,AND COUNTERMEASURES OF URBAN TOURISM AND RECREATION UNDER “TIME-SPACE COMPRESSION”

交通与信息技术的发展与进步,使我国正进入一个"时空压缩"的时代。在这样的背景下,城市旅游和休闲发展有两个明显的趋势:旅游和休闲出行需求的增加,以及旅游和休闲行为的同质化现象。由此带来了旅游者与居民对城市空间与交通系统的共享,以及城市间竞争的强化。为了应对旅游和休闲发展带来的挑战,城市政府要在部门协调和城市规划编制这两个层面加以改进。

China is now in a period of ＂timespace compression＂ which is caused by the development of transportation and information technology. In such a background, there are two obvious trends in urban tourism and recreation development： the increase of tourism/recreation travel, as well as the homogenization of tourism and recreation behaviors. Consequently, urban space and transportation system are shared by visitors and residents. Furthermore, the competition between cities is strengthened. For these challenges, municipal governments should make efforts in two aspects： coordination of different departments and formulation of urban planning.
