摘要 20世纪末出现教师语言意识这一概念以来,它已成为研究教师语言能力的一个重要内容。作为教师语言意识的组成部分,教师的学科知识和语言交际能力决定了教学能否有效进行。云南少数民族地区的英语教学有其独特性,发展教师语言意识对少数民族地区英语教学水平的提高尤为重要。 Teacher Language Awareness has become an important content for research on teachers’ language ability since the coming up of the concept by the end of the 20 th century.As important components of Teacher Language Awareness,subject knowledge and communicative language ability determine the effectiveness of teaching.English teaching in Yunnan minority areas has its own characteristics.The development of teacher language awareness is very important for improving the level of English teaching.
