佛教在中国现代慈善事业发展中扮演着重要角色,主要表现在三个方面:佛教传入中国"本土化"后形成的教义理论;历史上佛教是发展慈善事业的重要角色;现实社会发展的需要。在社会资本视角下,佛教作为一种重要的社会资源,发展慈善事业对社会治理及和谐建设方面有重要的促进作用和发展空间。

Buddhism plays in the development of China＇s modern philanthropy an important role,mainly in three aspects：First,the theoretical doctrine of Buddhism into China,＂localization＂after the formation;second,the history of Buddhism plays an important role in the development of philanthropy;third,it is required by the reality of social development.In the social capital perspective,Buddhism is an important community resource,so the development of charity can play a role in social governance and harmonious society construction,and in the promotion of the development of space.
