The basic and specific EMC requirements of the FAST project and the common through-wall techniques are introduced in this paper. The key technologies of the through-wall shielding device which is used for the high speed motor shaft are represented, include the principle design idea, implementation method, and the test and verify method of the shielding efficiency. The principle and structure of the device are described in detail, and the shielding efficiency test results of a prototype are shown.
