化妆品说明书担负着驱使人们了解该产品,指导其安全使用并引起消费者购买动机的关键作用。从化妆品说明书的语言特点出发,在对等原则相关理论的指导下,化妆品说明书的翻译策略应力求达到语义对等、功能对等、情感对等的实际效果。
With the economic globalization, more and more foreign cosmetics find their way into Chinese markets to meet with diverse needs of consumers. As an important affiliation to cosmetics, cosmetics descriptions play crucial roles for people understanding the cosmetics, guiding people to use the cosmetics properly, and stimulating people to buy the products. Therefore the translation of descriptions is very important.Firstly, the author analyzed features of cosmetics description. Then the author discussed how to reach the effects of semantic equivalence, functional equivalence and emotional equivalence in the translation of cosmetics descriptions. Only reaching these effects can the target language readers understand these descriptions and buy the products. The author hopes to supply some references and experiences to the translations of the same kind of descriptions by this article..
