Mould Design and Optimization for Aluminum Alloy Piston Based on Numerical Simulation

摘要 利用MAGMA软件对ZL109活塞铸件模具生产工艺进行了模拟优化设计。结果表明,优化后的铝合金模具方案合理,充型平稳,温度分布均匀,且模拟的缩孔、缩松分布在铸件浇冒口内。经生产验证,铸件品质明显提高,达到节约试制成本、提高产品品质的目的。 Mould for ZL109 aluminum alloy piston for diesel engine was optimized by simulating filling flow field, temperature field and shrinkage holes (porosity). The numerical simulation results show that the optimized mould exhibits reasonable, in which the filling flow is stable with temperature uniform distribution, and the predictable shrinkage holes(porosity) are located in the riser. The casting quality is improved obviously by production verification, saving cost and improving the product quality.
