2014年12月23日,第20次中韩经贸联委会、中韩FTA扩大经济合作研讨会在烟台召开。中国国家商务部副部长高燕与韩国外交部次官赵兑烈共同主持,双方积极评价两国经贸合作取得的成果,并就世界和各自国家经济形势、落实领导人会晤共识、继续扩大双边贸易和投资、推进中韩自贸区建设、修订中韩经贸合作中长期发展规划报告、加强物流流通合作、地方经贸合作、共同建设中韩产业园等深入交换意见、达成诸多共识。如此高规格的会议选择在烟台召开,背后的原因何在？
