Private Education in Han Dynasty and Its Enlightenments

两汉时期,官方采取了较为宽松的文教政策,加之官学的颓废和吏治的要求,使私学得到了快速发展,并对当时的社会产生了巨大的影响,如促进了不同地域和不同文化之间的交流、提高了人们的知识水平、促进了汉代经学的兴盛等。两汉私学教育的发展对当今我国教育改革具有重要的的启示作用,主要表现为应注重教育对人的教化作用及教师素质的提高,重视家庭教育的影响作用,并形成正确的政策导向。

In Han Dynasty,government took the looser education policy,with the decadence of public education and the requirement of governance,private education developed rapidly,which influenced society at that time greatly. For instance,it promoted the communication between different regions and different cultures,improved people’s state of knowledge and boosted the prosperity of Confucian Study in Han Dynasty and so on. The development of private education in Han Dynasty gives important enlightenments to present education that we must focus on the function of education and improve quality of teachers,attach importance to the effect of family education and form proper policy orientation.
