再论语素融合说问题

A Rediscussion of Morpheme Fusion

语素融合说长期流行,但至今无人为它寻得可靠的证据。持语素融合说者多以孤立的观点看问题,不计成词信息;偏执共时论,割断历史;趋从现行理论,误解语言事实。上述事实均表明语素融合说不成立。

“Morpheme fusion”has been popular in the field of Chinese Language study for a long time, but no one has found any sound proof supporting this idea so far. Departing from isolated point of view, the advocators of “morpheme fusion” have not taken into consideration the information infused in the creation of word; they cling to the banner of the synchronic analysis unaware of being severed from history;they embrace the theories in vogue and keep their eyes shut at the linguistic facts. All of these point to the untenability of the so called“morpheme fusion”.
