Since the publication of The Buddha of Suburbia, Hanif Kureishi has published a series of novels. Reading through these works, changes in the themes can be discovered, as it does not always focus on the complicated social issues faced by Pakistani-British immigrants. In addition , the body condition, as displayed in his works, is altered with the changes in the post-colonial, post-imperial London.
