摘要
针对网络环境中物体三维几何数字化模型快速展示存在的问题,提出一种改进的二次误差测度简化算法。在计算边折叠误差代价中引入顶点曲率和局部区域面积,控制简化网格模型边折叠顺序,提高具有明显特征区域顶点的误差度量,从而更好地保留原始网格模型中的细节特征。实验结果表明,本算法简化后的三维数字化模型不仅保留了原始网格模型的细节特征,而且计算速度快,提高了网络环境下三维模型的展示效果。
The digital three-dimensional geometry model cannot rapidly display in the network environment,so an improved quadric error metric(QEM)mesh simplification algorithm is proposed.Vertex curvature and the local area are introduced into the calculation error of edge collapse cost,the order of edge collapse of simplification mesh model is effectively controlled,the vertex error metric which has obvious characteristics regions is improve,the more detail features of the original model are preserved.The experimental results show that the digital three-dimensional geometry model simplified by the proposed algorithm retains the original characteristics of the mesh model,which improves the QEM algorithm calculation speed and the display effect of three dimensional models in the network environment.
