Forestry small power machinery is a kind of forestry machinery with the largest production quantity and plays an important role in forestry production. Product types of forestry small power machinery, relevant organizations such as societies and associations and its development history and current production situation in China are introduced;the gap between the product quality in China and that in advanced countries as well as the insufficiencies of scientific research and talent cultiva-tion is pointed out.
