基于直方图统计的自适应图像增强改进算法

The Enhancement Algorithm of Local Contrast Based on the Statistics of Histogram

在分析数字图像统计特性的基础上,应用直方图原理,改进传统自适应算法,对图像进行了局部增强处理。首先计算图像的局部均值和标准差,比较其与全局均值和标准差的关系以确定需要增强的区域;然后在选定的区域上,对传统自适应增强算法进行改进,增加权重系数,提高对比度,改善图像增强的效果;最后对算法进行试验分析,并应用客观评价指标进行评价。试验结果表明,基于局部均值和标准差改进的自适应图像增强算法优于局部均值和标准差的图像增强。

On the basis of analyzing the feature of digital image,the principle of histogram is used to improve the adaptive algorithm to enhance local image information.First,the local mean and standard deviation of an image are calculated by histogram statistics to compare them with total mean and standard deviation to define the region to be enhanced.Then,the weight coefficients and contrast are established,the traditional adaptive algorithm is improved to enhance the local image.At last,the algorithm is analyzed by using objective index.The results show that the improved adaptive image enhancement method based on the local mean and standard deviation is prior to the traditional algorithm.
