In this paper, through the analysis of the structure about video surveillance ＆ control system in different stages of development, starting from the perspective of video signal processing, expound the function and the technology in each part of the system structure. By the comparison and analysis of role and characteristics of the front-end equipment, transmission network and the datacenter storage technologies in the video signal processing, forecasts the future development direction of video surveillance ＆ control system.
