从2013年12月开始,四级考试中的翻译题型由补全句子式翻译改为段落翻译,给广大考生带来了新的挑战。作者简单介绍了段落翻译这一新题型的特点,继而通过解题步骤、注意事项以及样题分析等环节探讨了解题的技巧,并进而提出段落翻译题的备考策略。

The translation part in Band IV examination has changed from completing sentences by translation to paragraph translation since December, 2013, which is a challenge for college students required to take the examination. Starting with an introduction to the features of paragraph translation, the author of this paper tries to explore the relevant techniques by dwelling on the translation steps, warnings, as well as sample analysis, also to put forward strategies for preparations before examination.
