对国外隐喻语料库研究方法的辩证分析

Dialectic Analysis of the Research Methods of Corpus-based Metaphor Studies Abroad

隐喻研究与语料库语言学的结合是近年来语言学研究领域的新趋势,语料库研究方法的兴起促进了隐喻的实证转向。近十年来国外学者在隐喻语料库方面的研究成果大致可分为四个方向:隐喻在语料库中的识别和提取;隐喻跨语言语料库对比研究;隐喻在特定语篇中的使用和功能分析;隐喻知识库的创建。分析这些隐喻语料库研究的理论阐释,研究方法的可靠性和可操作性,为这一研究领域提供相应的建议,有利于完善隐喻语料库研究方法,为国内学者拓宽了研究视角。

The combination of metaphor studies and corpus linguistics has been a new trend which attracts more and more attention of metaphor scholars and applied linguists. This study found that in recent years,corpus-based metaphor studies of foreign scholars fall broadly into four categories： the identification,annotation and collection of metaphors in corpus,cross-linguistic comparative study of metaphors,usage and function of metaphors in specific discourses,and establishment of metaphor data-bases.To dialectically analyze the theoretical interpretation,reliability and operability of recent corpus-based metaphor studies helps to promote the corpus methods for metaphor studies and broaden the perspectives of empirical research of metaphors.
