试论《长编》对党项西夏专名的校勘价值

On the Collating Value of “Changbian” to the Proper Nouns of Dangxiang Nationality and Xixia Dynasty

文章认为,标点本《长编》不可用于专名校勘。该书将那些经清人改译的专名予以回改,但不少地方不顾对音规则,只管机械地照搬,且不作任何交代,使用者在校勘举证时,从某书中来,又到该书中去,很容易犯下"循环论证"的错误。影印本《长编》中,清人误以藏语安多方言来改译《长编》里的党项、西夏专名,虽然不大确切,但毕竟要遵循一定的对音规则,从而具有特殊的校勘价值,可据以订正译音词的讹误。从对专名校勘的角度而言,现有标点本《长编》的价值要低于影印本。

This paper thinks that the collating edition of ＂Changbian＂ can not be used to revise proper nouns. In this book theproper nouns retranslated by scholars in Qing dynasty was recovered, but the rules of transliterations were ignored and the originof literature did not indicate, which would lead to errors in the process of research. Though the proper nouns of Dangxiang Na-tionality and Xixia Dynasty in the copy book of ＂Changbian＂ were inaccurately retranslated according to Amdo dialects of Tibetanby scholars in Qing dynasty, we can use them to correct the mistakes by the way of the phonetic reconstruction and the identifica-tion of the non - Chinese historical terms. From this perspective of proper nouns, the worth of the copy book of ＂Changbian＂ isbigger than the collating edition.
