过去中国学者调查所得的1940年日军在浙江衢州和宁波的细菌战造成的居民死亡人数与实际死亡人数有出入。2011年,日本学者发现日军731部队细菌武器科研人员当年撰写的秘密研究论文——《PX(鼠疫跳蚤)效果略算法》,据该论文中资料透露:1940年10月,日军在衢州投下8公斤鼠疫跳蚤,造成9279人死亡;在宁波投下2公斤鼠疫跳蚤,造成1554人死亡。两地共计致死中国居民10833人。这组数字应该是准确的。
The death toll in Quzhou and Ningbo caused by Japan's germ warfare in 1940 is actually far greater than the figure revealed by past Chinese research. In 2011,Japanese scholars discovered a secret paper entitled "PX( Plague Fleas)Effect Algorithm",written by bacteria weapon researchers working in Unit 731. That paper reveals the fact that in October1940,8 kilos of plague fleas were dropped in Quzhou and 2 kilos in Ningbo,killing 9279 and 1554 civilians respectively.The death toll of 10833,a sum total for the two places,is undoubtedly accurate and reliable.
