摘要
外语应用能力是社会所需高水平复合应用型人才应具备的素养。通过对比研究发现,参加服务性学习实验的学生,其听说水平要高于对照组,能更熟练地运用英语表达思想;其交际策略使用情况要比对照组好,更倾向于使用积极的交际策略,能更灵活地使用英语进行交流活动。因此,服务性学习有助于学生提高外语听说水平,改善交际策略使用情况,提高外语应用能力,从而满足社会对高水平复合应用型人才的要求。
Foreign language competence is a critical quality required by the society for high applicationtype talents.A comparative study reveals that the students in the service-learning group have high abilities in English listening and speaking than those in the control group,expressing their thoughts more fluently,and have made more improvement in competence of communicative strategies,more frequently adapting positive communicative strategies in communication activities.Therefore,service-learning contributes to improving students' abilities in foreign language listening and speaking,as well as competence of communicative strategies and foreign language proficiency,helping them to meet the high level demand of complex application-oriented talents required by the society.
