舞剧的叙事——兼论“舞蹈拙于叙事”

舞蹈不擅长叙事是基于舞蹈有叙事的意愿这一前提而言的。这一前提却从未经过认真的考量。如果舞蹈作品的创作目的就不是叙事,那么谈论是否擅长于此就失去了意义。在这方面最直接的途径就是反思舞剧这种通常被视为是讲述故事的舞蹈形式。本文尝试说明舞剧叙事并非是在人们通常理解的意义上讲述故事,而是以自己特有的方式重述故事。

The view that dance is not good at narration is based on the premise that dance has a narrative intention. But this premise has never been seriously considered. If the purpose of dance works creation is not a narrative,then it will lose its significance to talk about whether dance is able to tell a story. The most direct way is to reflect on ballet,which is usually considered a dance form of telling stories. This paper attempts to illustrate that the way by which ballet narrative tell stories is not same as the way people usually think of what a storytelling is,but it retells stories in its own unique way.
