The Transcending Practice of Pluralistic Values and the Faith in Survival in “Public Reality”

价值多元是"现代性文化"历史合理性建构和实践的产物,其背后是丰富多彩的文化个性的展示与话语宣示,是平等的、合法的民族文化生存权的几尽残酷的争夺。价值多元的实质是一个如何面对和对待多样性"他者"与"他在性"问题,它直接关涉不同文化与价值主体之间相互沟通的有效性问题,以及"文化实践主体"之权利资质——民族国家各不相同的"文化民主"实践形态及其价值理解和追求的正当性问题。21世纪仍将是一个"价值多元"的时代,同时这一时期也伴随着人们思考价值多元问题之"理论范式"的深刻转变:由"公正"本位的契约性价值生存信念转向以"生态和谐"为本、以"生存伦理关怀"精神为核心的文化"公共性"价值追求。其目的是世界"风险社会"之"世界主义情怀"观照下,现实个体之丰富多彩、风格各异的多样化的感性生存方式与真切的情感生活的被肯定。

The pluralistic values are the products of the legitimate historical construction and the practice of＂modern culture.＂Behind these values, we find the rich exhibition of the various cultural features, the assertion of various discourse, and the ferocious struggle for equal and legitimate survival of national cultures. The essence of pluralistic values is how to deal with the various＂Others＂and how to confront＂otherness.＂It is directly related to the efficiency of communication between different cultural and value subjects, and to the rights and quality of＂cultural practicing subjects,＂namely the various status of different nations＇ ＂cultural democracy,＂the nations＇ understanding of values and the legitimacy of the nations＇ pursuit of values. The 21 st century is still characterized by pluralistic values, and, at the same time,this century is accompanied by profound changes in the theoretical paradigm of people＇s understanding of value pluralism： the survival faith that resides in the fundamental covenantal value of justness is changed into the pursuit of cultural public value that is built upon ecological harmony and is focusing on the＂ethical concern about survival.＂The purpose of this change is the affirmation of individual＇s various perceptual patterns of survival and authentic emotional life under the light of cosmopolitanism in a world that is full of risks.
