Application of Moldflow in Optimal Design of Injection Mold Gate

摘要 以塑料窗限位块为例,利用Moldflow软件对塑件的最佳浇口位置进行分析,并对点浇口和侧浇口进行了比较分析,得出塑料熔体在充填过程中的充填时间、注射压力及塑件在成型过程中可能产生的熔接痕、气穴及翘曲变形等结果,达到了对浇口优化设计的目的,从而加快了模具设计的效率,提高了塑件的质量。 Taking plastic window limit block as sample, the best gate location of plastic part was analyzed by Moldflow software, and the point gate and side gate were analyzed and compared. Then the analysis results of the filling time and injection pressure in the filling process of the plastic melt, and the weld mark, air bubble and warping in the molding process of plastic parts were obtained. The gate design was optimized, and the accelerate the design efficiency of mold was accelerated, and the quality of plastic parts was improved.
