On the Phonetic Value of the sC-Consonant Cluster Initials in 15th-Century Korean

15世纪朝鲜语中有两组词首辅音丛:s系词首辅音丛与p系词首辅音丛。本文分析s系词首辅音丛,认为s系词首辅音丛的音值就是复辅音,现已演变为紧辅音。

In 15th--century Korean there are two initial consonant clusters, viz. the sC- and pC- series. This paper deals with the sC- initial consonant clusters, arguing that this series of initial consonant clusters were phonetically genuine consonant clusters, which has evolved into the tense consonant initials.
