摘要
本文是从"图像证史"角度对传为梁元帝《职贡图》进行的艺术史研究。文章通过对《职贡图》中不同胡国使者形象的分析,并结合画上题记和《梁书·诸夷传》、《北史·西域传》等文献,并通过与考古材料的比对,将其置于南北朝艺术史的脉络中展开研究。文章认为,值南北朝胡汉分立之时,南北双方都希冀通过复古、尊儒、崇佛、重建礼乐制度等不同的方式争夺文化上的正统地位。《职贡图》流露出梁朝对胡国"宗教外交"的诉求,具有深刻的政治寓意,表现了梁人对图像承载政治功用的期冀。
This essay is an art history study in the aspect of 'Images prove history' on the scroll painting of Portraits of Periodical Offering by Emperor Yuan of Liang.The essay analyzes different appearances of barbarian people from foreign counties,with inscriptions on the painting and ancient documents such as Book of Liang- Biography of Foreign Countries and History of the Northern Dynasties- Biography of the Western Regions.The essay follows the material of archeology,putting the painting in the context of art history of Southern and Northern Dynasties.This essay consist that,when China is separated into south and north,each side intend to pursuit orthodox of culture in many manners.The painting of Portraits of Periodical Offering shows the demand of religious diplomacy with foreign countries of Liang,has deep political implications,and shows the carriage of political functions with images by Liang people.
