摘要
本文通过相关文献讨论了民国时期上海美专的篆刻教育,指出上海美专的篆刻课程,并非独立的学科,而是中国画学科中的一门基础课程,由此"篆刻"进入了学院的教学,并于上世纪二十年代开启了现代教学模式的篆刻教育。文章从课程设置、教学目的、教学内容、教学成果、师资等诸方面讨论了上海美专的篆刻教育的成就,并就篆刻在民国时期艺术分类学中的地位作了分析,指出正是像上海美专等学校在书法和篆刻教育上的实践,及当时的艺术学校在中国本土艺术上的觉醒和高度重视,才可能有在艺术理论层面对篆刻这样的中国传统艺术的认知。文章认为在今日复兴中华的历史进程中,了解上海美专篆刻教育的过去,重新认识中国艺术体系的内涵,是有反思的必要的。
This paper discusses about seal cutting education in the Shanghai Training School of Fine Arts in the Republic of China,and points out that it was not an independent discipline,but a fundamental course in Chinese Painting course.Thus 'Seal Cutting' started to be taught in a school,and had its modern teaching mode in1920 s.This paper discusses about the achievement of seal cutting education in the Shanghai Training School of Fine Arts in aspects as course setting,teaching aim,teaching contents,teaching achievement,and teaching staff,analyzes the status of seal cutting in sorts of arts in the ROC period,and points out that just because of practice of calligraphy and seal cutting education in schools such as the STSFA,as well as schools' awakening and highly attention on Chinese local arts at that time,there was recognition of traditional Chinese arts such as seal cutting on the level of art theory.In the historical process of reviving China,it is necessary to know about the past of seal cutting education in the STSFA,and re-cognizing the connotation of Chinese art system.
