大学英语的数据驱动教学模式研究——以广东外语外贸大学《影视英语》精品课程改革为例

Data-driven Model in College English Teaching:A Case Study of “Quality Course” Reform in “Movie English” Class in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies

教育部《大学英语课程教学要求》(2007)指出,"各高等学校应充分利用多媒体和网络技术,采用新的教学模式改进原来的以教师讲授为主的单一课堂教学模式。"鉴于此,本文以数据驱动学习理念为出发点,以广东外语外贸大学精品课程《影视英语》的教学改革实践为例,设计了大学《影视英语》课数据驱动教学模式,并探讨其在教学过程中的具体实施方案。该模式主要包括语料库准备、语料库培训、课内引导式教学和课外发现式学习四个部分,并将各部分有机结合,其总体原则是引导学生逐步从"解释"过渡到"发现"。本研究为《影视英语》教学改革提供了一条提高学生自主探索能力的新路径,丰富了大学英语教学模式研究。

'The Chinese National College English Curriculum Requirements'(2007)entails a revolution of the traditional teacher-centered teaching model by making full use of multimedia and internet technology.The present study assumes a Data-driven learning(DDL)perspective to design a data-driven teaching model for the college'Movie English'course in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.The model includes four parts:corpus preparation,corpus training,teacher-guided in-class activities,and afterclass learning exploration.This research not only provides a new orientation for the reform of the'Movie English'course,but also enriches the studies on college English teaching models.
