The Development of Higher Education under the Religious Background

大学与宗教始终处于较微妙的关系之中,宗教精神从来就没有远离大学。欧洲中世纪大学在教会和世俗政权的斗争中谋求独立、自由发展。宗教改革后,大学走向世俗化,在宗教精神的有和无之间徘徊。随着大学的发展,其对宗教的思考更加深刻。宗教在国家政权中地位的衰落并不意味着宗教精神在社会生活中的消散,而是愈加成为人们心灵的归宿。直至今日,宗教精神依然是研究高等教育哲学不可回避的话题。

There has always been a subtle relationship between the university and religion,the religious spirit never keeps away from the university.In medieval Europe the university struggled with the church and secular regime in order to strive for independence and free development.After the Reformation,universities headed for the secularization,and lingered between the ＂ have＂ and ＂ not have＂ of the religious spirit.With the development of universities,the thinking towards the religion becomes more profound.The decline of the religion in the state power does not mean that the religious spirit dissipated in the social life.On the contrary,the religious spirit becomes increasingly the spiritual home of humans.Until now,the spirit of religion is still the unavoidable topic of researching the higher education philosophy.
