民办高校图书馆要实现可持续发展,必须从搞好读者服务和注重人才培养两个方面着手。首先是要研究读者心理,基于读者阅读的周期心理、从众心理、求异心理、紧迫心理、求实心理、消遣心理来有效地开展服务;其次是要提高图书馆员的素质,要培养一支适应图书馆现代化、信息化、国际化发展的人才队伍。

In order to realize the sustainable development, the library of private university must pay attention to reader service and talent cultivation. The first is to study psychological factors and carry out the service effectively based on the cycle psychology, conformity psychology, difference seeking psychology, urgency psychology, truth seeking psychology and recreation psychology in readers＇ reading, and the second is to improve librarians＇ quality and cultivate a talent team adapting to the library＇s modernization, informatization and internationalization development.
