摘要
目的评价临终关怀教育对老年护理专业学生死亡态度及临终关怀态度的影响。方法设计自身前后对照试验,对老年护理专业45名本科生进行4个月临终关怀教育,通过死亡态度量表、临终关怀态度量表来评估临终关怀教育的有效性。结果临终关怀教育后护理专业学生以养老机构为工作志向及志愿从事临终关怀工作的人数较实施前上升(P<0.01);在死亡态度量表中,自然接受、死亡逃避、死亡恐惧3个维度得分差异有统计学意义(P<0.01);在临终关怀态度量表的总分以及各维度得分差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。结论对护理本科生进行临终关怀教育,能促使护理专业学生工作志向转变为养老机构;有助于护理专业学生克服对死亡的负性情绪,树立正确的死亡观。
Objective To evaluate the effect of hospice care education on undergraduate nursing students' attitude towards death and end-of-life care. Methods Forty-five undergraduate nursing students in the specialty of Geriatric Nursing received four-month hospice care education. The outcomes were evaluated using Death Attitude Profile-Revised and Professional End-of Life Care Attitude Scale(PEAS). Results After hospice care education,the proportion of intention to work in elderly institutions increased significantly(P0.01) and significant differences were found in the dimension scores of natural acceptance of death,death avoidance,fear of death as well as the total score and each factor score of end-of-life care attitude(P0.01). Conclusion Hospice care education can change nursing students' intention to care for elderly people,help them overcome negative emotions of death and set up the correct view of death.
