抗战期间,八路军和华北抗日根据地的美术工作者进行美术创作:包括壁画、布画创作,版画、画报、连环画,举办画展,设立文艺奖。华北抗日根据地美术活动是在艰苦的环境中开展的,重视美术教育,反映了抗战的主题。根据地美术创作活动,丰富了军民的文化生活,鼓舞了士气,还起到瓦解敌军的作用。

During the Anti-Japanese War , the artist of Eight Routh Army and in North China anti-Japanese base created works, including murals, cloth painting, wood engraving, picture story book, etc.They held art exhibition and established art prize .The art creation carried out in a difficult circumstance , but attached importance to to art education and reflected the theme of the War .Artistic creation in the base enriched the culture life and boosted the morale of the soldiers and the people , then disintegrated the enemy and puppet .
