Peiwenzhai Selected Chant Poems Collection,presided by Emperor Kangxi over its compilation , is one of the earliest poetry albums in China .Its compiling idea ,“imitating all things in universe” and“expressing the law of universe”, is a concentrated expression of the spirit in Kangxi golden age .It emphasized soft and gentle aesthetic characteristics , and cultivation function of chanting poetry , which met the cultural domination in early Qing dynasty and general cultural psychological needs after political oppression and social unrest in Ming Dynasty .In addition , it had a profound impact on later generation becaues of its far-reaching poetic ideas , and broad and elaborate compiling style .
