摘要 从美国哈佛大学心理学教授霍华德·加德纳(Howard Gardner)在80年代提出的多元智能理论(The Theory Multiple Intelligences)出发,研究多元化大学英语课堂活动与学生全面发展的关系,通过问卷调查和实践教学反映出"多元智能理论"在大学英语教学活动多元化设计中的应用,提升了课堂教学的趣味性及学生参与课堂的主动性、自信心和合作意识,并通过多元智能激发"90后"大学生英语学习的兴趣,以实现开展"以学生为中心"的教学。 Researches of EL T classroom activities over the past few years have increased dramatically . Based on Multiple Intelligences (MI) theory by Dr .Howard Gardner ,this article highlights the diversified classroom activities in ELT ,aiming at the cultivation of individuality and development of students'all‐round abilities .Questionnaires and experimental classroom activities resulted from diversification of Eng‐lish activities has not merely made lessons more interesting but also stirred post‐90s'college students'inter‐est ,confidence and cooperative consciousness ,creating students‐centered teaching atmosphere .
