摘要
美国胃肠病协会（ American Gastroenterological Association， AGA）成立于1897年，是美国最权威的消化医师学术团体，目前拥有涉及该学科各个方面的17000名成员，致力于促进胃肠病学的临床实践和发展。 AGA在制定卫生政策、标准、指南和消化疾病研究方面是全美乃至全球的引领者。其出版的《胃肠病学》杂志（ Gastroenterology）是消化病学领域影响因子最高的期刊，每年5月其参与主办的消化疾病周是全球最为知名的消化病学术大会。
