肠道病毒（enterovims，EV）属于小RNA病毒科肠道病毒属，可分为脊髓灰质炎病毒（poliovims）、埃柯病毒（echovirus）、柯萨奇病毒（coxsackievirus，CV）和新型肠道病毒（new enterovirus）。基于肠道病毒VP1序列，又可分为EV-A、EV-B、EV-C和EV-D共4组。
