From the point of view of the social function of the systematic functional grammar,Hallidy made a series of analysis of language,for a variety of language related disciplines,such as sociolinguistics,language teaching,statistics and so on,has the promotion and huge effect.In this paper,through the use of interpersonal function in systemic functional grammar to Hallidy speech of Michel analysis,reveals the close relationship between language and meaning,but also explore the Michel is how to construct the interpersonal relationship in his speech at the university.
