As one of the most important representatives of the Frankfurt school, Adorno's thought has begun to be the focus of the domestic academia since the 1990 s. However, Adorno's achievement in literary criticism has not received the attention of academic research, and the relationship between literature and Adorno is still forgotten. In fact, Adorno's literary criticism is an important part of his thought, which is well manifested in two books Notes to Literature and Prism. In a word, Adorno's literary criticism is the reaction of the German culture, political situation at that time, which presents philosophical features and the tendency of modernism art.
