摘要
现有的法拉第效应实验装置仅能验证光单方向通过介质时,偏转角变化量与磁场间的正比关系,却无法验证法拉第效应旋光的不可逆性.重新设计光路,可测量线偏振光二次通过介质后的旋光角,与单次通过介质时的旋光角进行比较,实验结果可验证法拉第效应旋光的不可逆性.
The existing Faraday effect experiment device can verify the proportional relationship between the deflection angle variation and the magnetic field when light travels through the medium in only one direction, but can't verify the irreversibility of magneto-optical rotation in Faraday effect. Light path was designed to measure the optical rotation angle of twice-traveling through the medium. The experimental results verified the irreversibility of the optical rotation caused by Faraday effect.
