重力沉降法测定流体中颗粒运动阻力系数及其验证 被引量:4

Measurement and Validation of Drag Coefficient of Particles in Fluid by Gravity Settling Method

摘要 基于固体颗粒沉降原理,结合Verlet速度算法设计了颗粒在流体中运动阻力系数的测量装置,完成了聚钨酸钠溶液和合成油SAE5W-40两种流体阻力的测量。最后采用Brookfield DV-Ⅱ黏度计对测量结果进行了比较。结果表明:单个球形颗粒在两种流体中做自由沉降运动且介质绕流球体的流态为层流时,两种测试方法得出的颗粒运动阻力与颗粒直径的变化规律一致,在29℃时,两种方法测得合成油和聚钨酸钠溶液中颗粒的运动阻力系数平均误差分别为9.44%和3.43%。 Based on particle settling principle combined with Verlet-velocity algorithm,a set of experimental instrument for measuring drag coefficients of particles in varied fluids was established,through which the flow resistance of sodium polytungstate( SPT) solution and synthetic oil SAE 5W /40 was measured and the data were compared with those obtained by Brookfield DV-Ⅱviscometer. The results show that,when a single spherical particle falls freely in two kinds of fluid that is laminar flow circulating the spherical particle,the same rules of change were obtained by two method for the drag and size of particles. For the particles in synthetic oil and SPT solution at 29 ℃,the average relative error for drag coefficients obtained by two approaches are 9. 44% and 3. 43%,respectively.
