Bv the end of 2014, 32 elements of Quanzhou had been inscribed on the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List, topping prefecture-level cities in China. These elements include Gaojia Opera, Liyuan Opera, Quanzhou marionette, Nan Yin （southern tune）, Hui ＇an stone carving, Te-hua porcelain, Oolong tea （Tieguanyin） processing techniques and so on. During the Cultural Visit Program for Diplomatic Envoys to China, an annual event hosted by the Ministry of Culture of China, appreciating these cultural treasures is by no means absent from the itinerary.
