With the development of economy and culture, Chinese porcelain is no longer simply a commodity, but a luxury, an art and a collectible which is closely linked with Chinese culture. The paper analyzes the characteristics of Chinese porcelain, and explores their cultural connotations in terms of their origin and historical development, which is of great significance for inheriting and carrying forward traditional Chinese culture, and expanding the influence of Chinese porcelain in international market.
